In 2017, the United Grand Lodge of England celebrated the 300th anniversary of the world’s first Grand Lodge, here in London, in 1717. Part of the preparation for the celebration was the overhaul and enhancement of the 1933 Willis III organ in Freemasons’ Hall, Covent Garden and the set-up of a series of FREE, public organ concerts, the latest of which is shown above.
If you haven’t seen the amazing Grand Temple, or heard this magnificent instrument now is your chance!
Before the concert why not take the opportunity to visit the Library and Museum's new exhibition gallery at Freemasons' Hall to see its exhibition, Three Centuries of English Freemasonry? which will be open until 18:30 that evening. ADMISSION IS FREE.
