20+ Cambridgeshire Masons visited Mercurius Lodge No 7507, meeting at Freemason’s Hall, to witness an Installation Meeting, followed immediately by an Initiation.
Several Cambridgeshire Masons belong to Mercurius Lodge, and these travellers first enjoyed an Installation meeting in which W Bro Rob Taylor put W Bro David Watson in the Chair.
Then, after a 10-minute break, the new Worshipful Master immediately carried out an Initiation, with Bro Nick Farmer becoming the newest member of the Lodge.
The whole meeting was organised and orchestrated by W Bros Chris Cridford, Secretary, and Justin Curtiss DC. It was a great day for all who came, and rattling along at pace, both meetings were finished in little more than two and a half hours.
Despite the importance of a new Master, the Festive Board focused rightly on the new Initiate, so it was a very special day for the Lodge’s newest arrival.
